The first Summer Jam is scheduled for Sat. night August 23, 2008 from 6:00 to 10:30 pm. The event will take place on E. Wade Street in front of the Anson County Historical Society in Uptown Wadesboro. Live music starts at 6:30 pm (the band is Loaded Dice). • Sunday Dec. 7, 2008, 2:00 - 6:00 pm - 2008 Annual Christmastime Tour of Homes, Wadesboro, NC. Tour several local homes beautifully decorated for the holidays. Presented by Uptown Wadesboro, Inc. Tickets: $10 each. Prior to the day of the Tour, tickets will be available at the Chamber offices, Lacy's and Fancy Crafts.
